Problem

For 3PL logistics warehouses managing multiple customer inventories, maximising pallet storage capacity is important for making efficient use of available floor space.

For this approximately 9,000 m² warehouse, the customer needed a high-density storage solution that could accommodate repeated SKUs and batch storage while maintaining efficient forklift operations.

The customer needed to:

The objective was to increase storage density while maintaining an efficient warehouse operating environment for 3PL logistics activities.

Solution

Vinatech implemented a Push Back Racking System designed for high-density pallet storage.

Push Back Racking allows pallets to be stored multiple positions deep, with pallets loaded and retrieved from the same aisle. As pallets are added, they move along the system’s inclined rails, allowing multiple pallets to be stored within each lane while reducing the need for additional access aisles.

For the approximately 9,000 m² 3PL warehouse, the system was configured to improve storage density while supporting efficient forklift handling and batch-oriented inventory management.
